Kimi Quinn began the study of Ikebana in the 1980's in her native Japan. She is a certified instructor of Sogetsu School of Tokyo and has exhibited at various venues including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Botanical Garden and Japanese Consul’s residence. She is a board member of Ikebana International New York Chapter and the Ikebana Coordinator of Japanese Gallery at Metropolitan Museum of Art.
